Idag kl.19 framåt i Venn (andra våningen i Wiklund, adr. Eriksgatan 11) är det valfest inför Kårvalet och det motsvarande valet i Åbo Universitet. Festen arrangeras av studerandegrupperingen från ÅGV, i samarbete med TY:s gröna vänster, Gröna listan vid TY och Demokraterna vid TY.
Våra egna kandidater från ÅGV valföreningen är naturligtvis närvarande. Det är således ett ypperligt tillfälle att träffa kandidaterna, och om inte annat fira valet tillsammans med oss. Alla är naturligtvis välkomna att delta även om de inte är studerande! En beskrivning av händelsen kopierad från Facebook följer nedan.
Obs, även att det ordnas valtorg imorgon kl.11:30-13 i Arkens aula (adr. Fabriksgatan 2). Där kommer det också vara möjligt att bekanta sig med kandidaterna, och samtidigt rösta!

FULLMÄKIGEVALET NÄRMAR SIG!
Under hösten ordnas fullmäktigeval både vid Åbo Universitet (TY) och Åbo Akademi (ÅA). Detta firar vi med en valkväll på vinbaren VENN (Wiklund, 2.vån). Vi som ordnar är Viva – TY:s gröna vänster, Vihreä lista (Gröna listan), Demokraterna vid TY och Åbo Gröna Vänster vid ÅA. Valkvällen är öppen för alla – för såväl valkandidater och röstberättigade som för dej som bara vill bekanta dej med fullmäktigeverksamheten och de politiska grupperingarnas verksamhet!
Välkommen alltså att slå dej ner med en kaffe/öl/drink och bekanta dej med andra rödgröna studerande! På både finska och svenska!
Och så till det viktigaste: kom ihåg att använda din rösträtt i höstens fullmäktigeval! Valet förrättas 1 – 6.11 (TYY) och 29.10 – 1.11(förhandsröstning) och 5 – 6.11 (det egentliga valet) ÅAS.
Hinderfrihet: VENN är ett hinderfritt utrymme. Vid tillställningen tillämpar vi principerna för det trygga utrymmet och tolererar varken rasism, sexism, homo- eller transfobi eller annan form av hat eller diskriminering.

Student Union election party today, and an election event tomorrow
Today at 7pm forwards in Venn (the 2nd floor of Wiklund, addr. Eerikinkatu 11) there will be an election party for the Student Union elections of both ÅA and TY. The party is arranged by the student group of ÅGV, in cooperation with the green left of TY, the green list of TY, and the Democrats of TY.
Our own candidates from the ÅGV election group will naturally be present. As such this is an excellet oppurtunity to meet the candidates, and if nothing else celebrate the election together with us. Everyone are welcome to participate even if they are not students! A description copied from Facebook will follow bellow
Do note, that there also will be an election event tomorrow at 11:30am to 1pm in the main hall of Arken (addr. Tehtaankatu 2). It will also be possible to become acquainted with the candidates there, and at the same time it will be possible to vote!

STUDENT UNION COUNCIL ELECTIONS ARE COMING!
This fall the student unions both in the University of Turku and in the Åbo Akademi University are having their council elections, and to celebrate that us four green and leftist student organizations (Viva, Vihreä lista, Demokraatit and Åbo Gröna Vänster) are organizing an open-for-all event at winebar VENN (the 2nd floor of Wiklund). We warmly welcome our candidates, supporters and voters and other interested folks to discuss the elections and hang-out with other like-minded people!
And most importantly: remember to VOTE in the elections! TYY’s elections are on the 1-6 of November, and the elections in Åbo Akademis Studentkår are held from the 29th of Oct to the 1st of November and on the 5-6 of November.
Accessibility: VENN is an accessible space. At the event, we follow the principles of safer space: we do not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or any other kind of discrimination and hate.
